So, so surreal.........

I watched and listened to the streaming video online this morning of the original news coverage from 9/11/2001. The news coverage started with a story about the upcoming fall TV lineup. They then had a segment about cholesterol. They had a guy dressed up in a Mr. Peanut suit playing a game of HORSE in midtown Manhattan. The point was to emphasize exercise to keep healthy. They then had an interview with the wife of a popular band.

During all of the segments, I was watching the people outside the windows of the studio. Taxis were driving by, people were walking to work........just normal everyday stuff. Only thought that came to mind was that these people have no idea how their lives are going to be dumped head over heels over the coming day.
