Tigers come up one step short.......

Mizzou finished the season 31-7 after a loss to Connecticut in the Elite Eight. Terribly disappointing to miss out on a Final Four opportunity, but the Tigers played very well. It's difficult to find fault with a team that won two more games than any team in the 104 year history of the program.

The future also looks very bright. 9 players return to the program with the majority of them still being undergraduates. A star recruit at point guard from the state of Missouri waits in the wings along with a 6'10" Juco athletic freak. Two more recruiting spots remain available for the upcoming year (2009). The 2010 recruiting class should benefit tremendously from this Elite Eight run.

Only 6 months until practices starts again. **sigh**
