Big draw for the U.S. National team today.......

For those that don't pay much attention to soccer, the US national soccer team did what they needed to do and earned a draw with Italy. It was a very rough match with 3 red cards. One of the US players actually had his nose split open by a flagrant elbow. No love lost between these two teams evidently.

The US is now in the position where they can possibly advance to the second round of the World Cup. The US plays Ghana on Thursday and must win that game. If they win and Italy beats the Czech Republic, they will advance. It would be a great thing for the country and the team. For those that will be able to watch the game, tune in to the start of the telecast. There is nothing cooler than when they play the national anthems at the start of the game. I wish the national anthem would be sung with that much passion at all sporting events. It's definitely a goosebump moment.
