I'm sure the neighbors wonder what the heck is going on at our house in the evenings.
As I've mentioned, Kali 2.0 is a big fan of 'High School Musical'. It's quickly become one of our more interactive play-time experiences.
1. There's a song in one of the rehearsal scenes where they they 'bop, bop, bop' a whole lot. Kali's a huge fan of the 'bop' song. She'll just spin around and keep saying 'bop' over and over again during the whole song. I have no clue how she manages to not get too dizzy.
2. Now that Kali has a basketball goal, she's quick to point out whenever someone is playing 'ba-ke-ball' in the movie. She'll yell it repeatedly until you acknowledge that she is correct.
3. The big finale song is called "We're All In This Together". It's quickly become Kali's version of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Some examples....
-Whenever the Wildcat mascot comes on the screen, we both point at the Wildcat and scream 'Wildcat' repeatedly until he leaves the screen.
-The dancers raise their hands in the air a lot during the song. Kali or I will shout out 'Raise hands!' and we both raise our hands every time the dancers raise their hands.
-When the drum line starts playing, it's time to 'march'. We'll march around the house until the drum line finishes up.
-Lots of clapping. Kali will clap through much of the song. I've even noticed recently that she's attempting to actually clap on beat. It's still a work in progress, but she's got time to work that out.
