Mizzou managed to pull out a win against Kansas last night, thanks to the last second heroics of Zaire Taylor. He hit a clutch shot with one second left that will be replayed for years to come, much like the Corey Tate game-winning shot in the late '90s.
I'm honestly somewhat disappointed in the win, as we really should have beaten them by much more. Our defense was great through the whole game, holding the Jayhawks to 30 points each half and forcing 27 turnovers. The problem was that the Tigers came out TOO psyched up and just shot like a team that was nervous for much of the first half. Thankfully, the effort started paying off in the second half and we pulled out a memorable win.
Great win for the Tigers!
