Friends and Dinner.......

We invited a couple that recently moved into the neighborhood over to dinner last night at our house. They're actually no strangers to us as we've known them for several months already. Great people and we always have a lot of fun.

They came over around 7:00 PM and brought a nice bottle of wine. They came in and immediately went over to Kali 0.6 to play/talk with her. She was sitting in her baby chair in the middle of the kitchen table. Our guest commented that she 'was the best looking table centerpiece he had ever seen'. Kali played the role perfectly, smiling and flirting with them as they came over to talk with her. She's a sucker for attention and she'll ham it up when she gets it.

We headed over to the dining room table after chatting for awhile. Kali sat at the head of the table and watched the proceedings. Mrs. Lime had some napkin rings that had fake flowers on them which Kali loved. We all gave her our napkin rings to play with and she was in heaven.

The conversation at the table shifted over to golf at some point as Mr. Guest is a golfer. He mentioned that Mrs. Guest likes to go out and play as well and mentioned to Mrs. Lime that she should come along sometime to play. The capper of the conversation was when Mrs. Guest said, "I'm not all that good at it, but I have some really pretty balls!".

My response? "Well, it always pays to look good doing it!"
